September 24, 2007: Okay, so there hasn't been an update on this site for quite a while. All I can tell you is, "we're working on it". We've played a lot of shows over the summer with some great, heavy bands and have gained quite a few new fans and friends. So, to all the clubs, bands, and sick mother fuckers in the pits...thank you for making this summer outstanding! June 23, 2007: Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the fans that came out last night for our post-hiatus debut show at Rock No Roll Pizza. It was a great night to get playing again. As always shouts go out to the club and the other bands, especially From The Dark Skys, who really tore it up. June 13, 2007: I wanted to send out a quick update to welcome Jim Heckler to Godless as our new bass player. Jim was around way back before Godless was a gleam in any of our eyes and is now returning to add that much needed low end. June 1, 2007: Man, it feels great to be back! Sorry for the lack of updates on this site, but Godless needed a serious recharge. We have a new guitarist, new songs and new shows. First off, for those who don't know, Marc Love decided to leave Godless. We're sorry to see Marc go and hope him success in his future endeavors. Stepping in is Keith Nelson, who was recommended by our good friend DMS. Keith has brought some new energy to Godless and we're looking forward to his debut on June 22nd at Rock N Roll Pizza. Coinciding with Keith's debut will be three new songs to the Godless arsenal, and there are many more in the works. We really need your support at our first show back on June 22nd, so come on and check out the newbie, songs and the always cool Rock N Roll Pizza (check out our 'Shows' page for more info). December 11, 2006: Haven't been able to update in a while, so I wanted to send a big thank you to everyone that has helped book us, shared the stage with us, and just got downright rowdy in the crowd. We had a great time at the 15th Street with our bros from Tallboy, Stonecreep and Dij on December 2nd and it was awesome finally getting down to Eugene to play with the great Necryptic and The Athiarchists at John Henry's on December 9th. Special thanks go to Mandy Nash for setting up that show. We appreciate all the support from everybody at those shows.
We're currently taking a little break for personal reasons and to get some new material together. This does NOT mean that if people want to offer us shows, we won't take them!!! September 11, 2006: To everyone who was at the big band party on Saturday (AKA Goble Warming in Goble, OR), thank you! It was fun to get out and jam outdoors with some great bands. Thanks to Caustic for putting everything together. In other, more somber news, we must announce the departure of Josh Campbell from Godless. We wish Josh well and hope that he will keep in touch with his bros in the band. July 3, 2006: I want to send out a big round of thanks to Ceremonial Castings, Dimn and the Olde Shipwreck for the show in Tacoma this last weekend. The club was awesome and it was great playing with nine other heavy bands form the area. Time for another Godless road trip! June 19, 2006: To all who came out in support for any of the three bands (Stonecreep, Tallboy Shotgun and Godless) that played at the 15th Street Pub on Saturday, thank you. All of us had fun that night and the crowd was outstanding. We look forward to hitting Vancouver again soon. May 30, 2006: We all had a blast on Saturday May 27th at Rock N Roll Pizza. It was great to play with Desolation again, finally play with Damage Overdose, and extremely cool to play with Severed Savior, Deeds Of Flesh and Obituary. Thanks go out to Jeff Hill of Wishbone Concerts for putting together a great show and all of our fans that showed up. May 25, 2006: Due to time constraints, we've removed the link to purchase tickets for the May 27th show on this site. If you plan on going to the show find us before it starts outside Rock N Roll Pizza and we'll get them to you at the $15.00 price. May 16, 2006: Photos page updated May 15, 2006: Thanks to everyone who came out to Mother's Day Massacre last night at the Ash Street. Grieving Sun and Apocalypse Head put on great sets (as usual), and the Ash Street always treats us right. Now it's T-minus 13 days til Obituary... April 13, 2006: Tickets are now available for the May 27th show at Rock N Roll Pizza with headliners Obituary, Deeds Of Flesh and Severed Savior. We're supposed to sell them for $18 each, but we want to give back a little for what our loyals fans and friends have given to us. Buy them here for $15 a piece and we'll send them out to you postage paid. That's a savings of ten bucks (after all the service charges and shipping fees) if you got them from ticketswest.com. See you at the show! March 20, 2006: Insane show on Saturday night. You Madras people know how to tear it up! It was well worth the drive. Extreme thanks to Desolation for hooking us up. Shouts also go out to Wache The Dead and World Of Lies. See you next time. March 10, 2006: We appreciate everyone that came out and braved the possible snowfall last night at the Ash Street Saloon. This especially goes out to Necryptic, coming up from Eugene for a weeknight show. Also, thank you to World Of Lies and a special thanks to Heather and the Ash Street for always treating us right. February 27, 2006: Just wanted to deliver a quick thanks to everyone who came out for the Saturday show in Nehalem and the Sunday show at the Tonic in Portland. And, as always, big thanks to the bands who put on some great sets. We'd also like to deliver a special thank you to Lindsay, the bartender at the Tonic. You rule! Till next time. February 3, 2006: Updated "Links" section. January 30, 2006: Those of you who didn't make it to the 15th Street Pub show on Friday (you know who you are) really missed out. A great crowd and great bands, including the last-minute surprise addition of Tallboy Shotgun, made for a kick-ass night on the town. Thank you to everyone who checked out the show, and to the crew at the 15th Street, who've shown us that there may yet be Vancouver nightlife after the Arnada. January 10, 2006: For all of you looking forward to the Eyes Of Fire (Century Media artist), LOSA (Metal Blade artist),Platoon 13, Roanoke and Godless show scheduled for March 1st at Rock N Roll Pizza, we unfortunately had to cancel. We look forward to working with both the venue and Wishbone Concerts in the future. November 19, 2005: Hey gang. Finally uploaded some more pics in the photos and shows sections. We had a great time at the Ash Street on Thursday 11/17 and the Arnada on Friday 11/18 as part of Frequency Murder's west coast tour. We want to thank everyone for coming out and the bands for playing excellent sets. In other news, we learned on Friday that our beloved hometown club, the Arnada Cafe, will be closing it's doors on Wednesday December 7th. We want to thank the crew at the Arnada for always taking care of us and giving us an excuse to leave the house, get ripped and play obnoxious music to their patrons. We'll miss you! September 19, 2005: We really want to thank all the bands who came out and played with us Friday night at the Arnada. The crowd was a bit thin, but everyone had a good time. Seriously though, every time we play with Blood Havoc, we have a good time. Ceremonial Castings put on another great set and it was really cool to play with Apocalypse Head for the first time. Looking forward to doing it again soon. August 1, 2005: We had a blast on Saturday at the Arnada and wanted to thank everyone for turning out. We also want to thank Last Leaf On The Tree, Dij and Among The Decayed for playing with us. They all put on great sets that night. Until next time... July 19, 2005: The Viper Club is a very cool place, even on a Monday night. We had fun last night, and we want to send a big thank to all the guys from Blood Havoc for setting it up. Looking forward to playing with those guys again. July 18, 2005: Last night at the Ash Street was fun, except for a few techincal difficulties of course. It was great to play at a real local death metal show. We want to thank Among The Decayed for putting it together, as well as Ceremonial Castings and Blood Havoc. Everyone put on a great show and we're looking forward to playing with Blood Havoc again tonight at the Viper Room. See you there! June 27, 2005: Just wanted to deliver a quick, but well deserved thank you to all of our fans and friends who came out to support Godless last night at the Battle of the Bands semi-finals. We may not have won, but you helped us have a great time. Looking forward to seeing you all at the Ash Street on July 17th. June 13, 2005: All I can say is...our fans rule! The show last night at Rock N Roll Pizza was a blast. We are now going to be playing the second round of the 2005 KUFO Battle of the Bands because of our cheering section. We met some great people, got to play a cool club and hang out with a few awesome bands. Props go to the other bands in the contest last night: AOS, Antix and Dij. See you on June 26th. May 28, 2005: Wow! Hadn't realized how long it had been since I updated the news page. Anyway, last night's show at the Arnada was great, but very hot (stage lights suck). Subjekt 2 Change, Tallboy Shotgun and Stonecreep all put on a great show. Looking forward to future endeavors with those guys. Thanks go out to all the fans that showed up in support and to Stonecreep for putting together another great bill. April 11, 2005: Godless website re-launched April 5, 2005: Once again we had a great time at the Tabor last night. We got to play with our friends from Stonecreep, which is always cool, as well as Kapuda, Embryonic Devourment and Mummification. If you ever get the chance, I definitely recommend checking out Mummification. They really tore it up. As always, thanks to Geoff Minor with Nightpiper Productions for setting up this first annual Portland Metal Fest. See you all again real soon. March 14, 2005: Playing the Ash Street on Friday was a fun and interesting experience. I say interesting because we really didn't know if we could fit all five of us on stage. Well, we did (although if we ever get a bass player, his ass is sitting in the crowd). Thanks go out once again to Stonecreep. They have really been great hooking us up with shows lately and, as always, put on a killer set. We didn't get to play with Tallboy Shotgun since they had to cancel, but Kross Face was a nice last minute addition and Rose Moyer did a great job starting the show out. Props go to all the bands. Apologies to everyone who came out if you felt we sounded a little off. We may have been a bit drunk. February 28, 2005: Another great show at the Tabor last night. A decent amount of people came out of the woodwork for a Sunday show, which is usually very rare. We had a great line-up with Bonobo Project, Harm Family, World Of Lies, Stonecreep, and, of course, Godless. Thanks go out to Geoff Minor from NightPiper, our crew and CHERI!!! We'll see you again at the Ash Street on March 11th. December 30, 2004: I must say, we are all very pleased with the way our show went last night at the Mt. Tabor. The turnout for a Wednesday night was impressive and the people were ready to hear some loud, obnoxious music. Good thing we fit the bill. Our thanks go out to Geoff Minor of Night Piper Productions and Sabala's Mt. Tabor for putting on the show, our roadies, Bran and Steph, groupies, Kelley and Stephanie, and of course the audience for coming out in the middle of a work week to support local metal. We also want to give props to the other bands on the bill: Fighting Mabus, The Bonobo Project and 2 Minute Hate. More shows to come...for sure this time. November 22, 2004: Alright everybody. You've been waiting, so here's your update. The demo artwork has been completed. You should receive your copy shortly. Venues got the first batch because hey, you want to see us live again don't you. When you do, let me tell you, you won't be disappointed. We have a lot of new songs and are just itching to get back on stage again. I'll update this site again with show dates. July 12, 2004: Okay, so we've kind of been on hiatus as we get the demo together to send out to labels, venues, family, friends and fans. We are finally making some headway, so be ready to receive your copy soon. There's also this little thing called "Homegrown Hunt" being put on by 101 KUFO. This is where local bands can send in songs to be poked, prodded and possibly tossed before earning a chance to play "Mayhem at the Meadows" on July 28th with such bands as Slayer, Slipknot, and Superjoint Ritual (to name a few). So, starting Tuesday July 20th twelve finalists will be named and posted on the KUFO website for everyone to vote for (come on, you know you're going to vote for us), followed by a battle of the bands on Tuesday July 27th. The champion will play "Mayhem" and probably get wasted with Phil Anselmo (ahhh, I can die happy). May 23, 2004: I am extremly excited to say that we finished recording the demo yesterday. We hope to have copies for everyone soon. The four songs featured are "Burn Their Church", "World Of Shit", "Rot Like Me" and "Demise". I want to thank Chris Heffner at Some Peoples Children Studios for putting the amount of time and effort he did for this project (and for putting up with us). It was a great experience, but now we're ready for the gigs. As always, I'll keep you posted. January 30, 2004: The show at the Mt. Tabor with Stonecreep and A.F.M. was awesome. Playing there was very cool and the atmosphere with the other bands really helped to get us back into the scene. Thanks to everyone who showed up to support us. More shows are definitely to come.
